Daily Tarot With Claire

In May 2023, the owner of Daily Tarot with Claire (a YouTube channel specialising in daily tarot readings) came to me wanting help with both eye-catching bright thumbnails, and a header and banner design for her different social media.
After multiple meetings and talking back and forth, we decided to use the seven chakra colours as the main colours on the thumbnails to correlate with the days of the week, and then just some simple stars as this was an element the customer liked.
The challenge with this was that there needed to be a way for the customer to edit and change the title and the date so that it was easy and accessible to her so she didn’t need to always rely on me.
When creating this, I used Photoshop and Illustrator for the main elements then using Google Slides so that they could edit and change them as needed each day.
After the thumbnails started being used, the average viewers increased on average 20 per video, sometimes more.

The other element of the brief was to create the imagery for a header for all of her social media. To create this, I wanted to keep some of the same elements from her thumbnails so that some cohesion and brand identity were starting to form.
I used Photoshop, and Illustrator along with Pro Create to create the images and combine them.

As you see different elements depending on what device you are looking a them on, I needed to make sure the design could be seen in the different sizes and orientations.
We also decided to go with just black and white, as we didn’t want to complicate it too much by adding all the different colours that have been used on the thumbnails.
